Lighting In Thirst

  • Plot: Through a failed medical experiment, a priest is turned into a vampire and is forced to abandon his old religious and human ways.

Lighting In Thirst Trailer:

Vampire:

  • Dark, Top Lighting And Back Lighting presented throughout the vampires appearance in the trailer, to connote the main character of the film unconventionally as an evil person and not good like most other films.
  • Top Lighting is used to show the vampire sucking the blood out of his victims, illustrating the main characters gruesome and and dark nature. Also the film is a horror and full of gore.
  • When the main character is the vampire, almost all of the scenes are in dark lighting to show that the vampire is the bad side of this character.
  • Bandages shown in a top lighting like a operating theater to connote how the character has changed (Into A Vampire) and through the bandages covering all of his face its almost like its covering the darker side of him, soon to be uncovered.
The Priest:
  • High key lighting at the beginning before he changes to the vampire, showing him as good and almost like a godly figure. When the main character is the priest this is his good side unlike the vampire which is his bad side.
  • The priest and vampire are two clear binary opposites:
  • The Priest: A gentle figure, who would not hurt anyone and follows under his religion.
  • The Vampire:  A violent figure, who sucks people blood in order to survive and does this at his own accord and does not consider his victims.
