Film Title in The Good The Bad The Ugly

The Good The Bad The Ugly.

Plot: A bounty hunting scam joins two men in an uneasy alliance against a third in a race to find a fortune in gold buried in a remote cemetery.

Font: The Opening sequence of The Good The Bad The Ugly shows a long opening sequence of many people involved with the film, the font used for the main actors (Clint Eastwood, Lee Van Cleff and Eli Wallach) is a traditional wild west font that can be found in many cowboy films as the font for wanted posters and signs for bars and banks. I think the font particularly relates to wanted posters and one of the character at the very beginning of the film is  recognised through a wanted poster. Showing the actors name in this wanted poster style can connote the idea of these actors playing gritty characters who live a life not abiding to the law.

Animation: The Animation is in sync with the music in the background, everytime the beat of the song changes a new font or animation appears, this editing technique creates tempo for the movie with the start of the credits slow before getting pace near the end of the sequence. The animation itself is paint brush strokes revealing each character and give a impression on who is The Good The Bad The Ugly.

Music: The Music is a very famous soundtrack that has three different versions one for each character. The music is meant to connote a coyote in general to relate to the setting the characters are in. The music in the opening sequences sounds quite heroic and creates a lot of attention everytime, especially when the howl takes place.
